Whisky, the wheat
Whisky, anyone?
I've been to Dewar's World of Whisky factory last week in Scotland.
When I got down from the bus, I could eventually smell the wonderful smell of wheat.
After that, the tour guide of the company brought us to visit the factory and showed us how whisky was made.

Voucher for the free whisky
After visiting the factory, I got a free voucher to taste a 12-year-old whisky.
Well, I didn't really like the taste of that whisky as it tasted too strong for me.

An Ode to our Friendship
I can't believe how fast three months has flown by....
To me it only seemed like yesterday that I stepped foot on English soil.
And although I'm not the type who get homesick easily (constant Skype-ing helps),
I'm glad that I have my friends with me or I would be really lost like a little lamb away from home.
I'm really glad,
For I have friends of old that I can count on....
Friends that makes you laugh and smile with a joke or two....
Friends to make memorable moments with....
While meeting new ones at the same time....
Laughing at each other's quirks....
Cherishing the memories we have together....
So although I'm away from my family or even anything remotely familiar,
As long I have someone to share that journey with....
To make light of the road we travel on by trading a story or two....
Well...
As they always say, the more the merrier right?
Cheers to my quirky friends,
And may we finish all our assignments in one piece.

Straw-those-Berries!
Nutella and strawberries are quite cheap. While most people eat it together, I decided to go the extra mile for that sweet, juicy red fruit...
I can't help but wonder, what if I made a shake purely out of strawberries - will it taste as pure as the original?
I guess what I got back in my country was only 40% fruit, 30% syrup, and the rest was just water to make it look as if it was one big glass of pure fruit juice.
A small box of strawberries in Malaysia, about 10 pieces of it, would cost about RM10. But here, one pile of strawberries is only 4.50 pound! How can I NOT make a strawberry shake!
Almost finish...it's been in the freezer for 1 week...
There I was standing in front of my newly purchased blender, placed inside was my defrosted strawberries (I should not have freeze it in the first place because it took about an hour to defrost it).
"EEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeee!!!" The sound of the blender, crushing all the berries into paste! I thought it would come out watery...well paste is good enough...
After-blend strawberry paste!
Looking at it, it seemed so....cheap, for a lack of a better word, if I just drank it from the blender and not appetizing in the least.
So I glamorized it by pouring it into a wine glass and it definitely looks like it worth much more than it is if I put it in a normal cup.
Enjoy with style~!
I must say it tasted extremely wonderful as it was very sweet, no artificial flavour, and no added sugar.
Unfortunately I can only afford to do this here and not in Malaysia as it will be very costly.
As such, I will drink myself to heaven while I still can. Maybe I might even turn red like a strawberry...

My 1st Live Match: Rio Ferdinand's Testimonial
I am not a
football fan.
I don’t watch
football on TV.
I don’t have a
favourite team.
Sure, I know
who’s David Beckham,
But I know nuts
about the rest.
However, I felt
that it’d be such a waste if I did not go to a football match
after coming so
far to this football loving nation.
Hence I joined
two guy friends,
And we headed to
Old Trafford at Manchester
To watch Rio
Ferdinand’s Testimonial Match against Sevilla FC.
Finally! Old Trafford! A place I never thought I'd visit.
The man himself! Rio Ferdinand!
The two guys waiting in anticipation.
Man U and Sevilla FC enters the field in style
The guys were so
excited.
Unfortunately
Man U lost 1-3 to Sevilla FC.
But it was just
a friendly match.
I’m really happy
that I went to watch this match.
It’s money well
spent.
I will never
forget this experience.

The Final Thrust
It has been a long journey since my
friends and I set foot on this ground.
I still remember being greeted by the
cold and gentle breeze.
Moving from country to the next,
yet meeting new friends in the process.
Assignment after assignment, we rushed
through.
We filmed incidences and events while having the fun of our lives.
Our
journey here; it seems to be coming to an end but it does not mean our life
journey ends since it has just begun

Celebrate the joy~
Selamat Aidil Fitri
Kepada saudara
serta saudari
Setahun hanya
sekali
Merayakan hari
yang mulia ini…
Hey everyone it’s
Hari Raya Aidilfitri!!
I bet you don’t
celebrate Raya if you’re not a Muslim or a Malay~
But, I did enjoy
my weekend having fun.
and celebrating
Raya for the first time in the UK.
I rarely visit
my Malay friends in Malaysia,
even during Raya.
Malaysia is a
multi-racial country.
We respect each
other’s culture, each other’s special day.
We went to Pn.
Ras’s house to celebrate Raya last Saturday.
Wow… now
everyone is craving for Malaysian food!!
Chicken rice,
Ketupat, Chicken soup, Rendang~
Mmm…. Smells and
tastes good!!
We took a great
photo with Pn. Ras and her husband~
We also enjoyed
playing with her neighbor’s kids…
They are all
cute and talented.

Missing the flowers
When I first landed in Sheffield, I was amazed by the flowers and greenery of this place.
I could find many different type of flowers, but unfortunately, I can't find any recently.
The weather has started to turn cold, and I miss the dandelions...
Dandelions in UK are pretty huge!
Flowers in my accommodation
My dear plant!
You can find flowers anywhere in Sheffield!
As time pass, dandelion no longer are here.
I'm looking forward to seeing the flowers blossom again.
Well, I'm missing the warm weather and the dandelions...
