A Night Stroll for the Weary
I recently took a stroll at my accommodation with two other aliens,
my alien leader (Fabian) and alien story obtainer (Yoon Yi).
They're fantastic friends, accompanying me for a midnight stroll because I was feeling weary.
The view at The Forge (our accommodations) was perfect.
The cold breeze blew, sending shivers running through us,
but the lights warmed our hearts and allowed me to drift off to my sea of thoughts.
As we walked pass lamp posts, we saw our shadows,
forever following us, like a loyal friend, accompanying those with no friends.
The night is a mystery.
It adds mystery.
It causes mystery.
Even my two alien friends basked in the mysteries of the night and became a mystery themselves.
Whispering just beyond a quiet alley,
secrets untold.
A mystery,
just like the night.
Ah, and there comes the mysterious pose.
Two aliens
with mysterious thoughts,
trying to comfort an even more mysterious alien who was capturing photos of them to distract the weary mind and soul.
I can't say that the night comforted me totally,
as its silence brought back my weariness after a while.
But it was a moment's reprieve,
just strolling quietly in the night,
allowing the cold to numb my thoughts,
even for just a short moment.
