Childish Aliens at the Playground!
There’s a
saying which goes: Everyone has a child in them… somewhere.
You just have to place people in the right place, at the right time to dig the child out.
Guess what,
we Aliens discovered there’s a child within us too!
It happened
one lovely summer’s day when I went out for lunch with my Alien leader and a
friend, Vivy.
We stumbled
upon a place where everyone’s childhood memories were made.
A simple
playground, just a little off London Road.
Much to our
delight, there were no signs saying that the playground was restricted to 12
year old and below.
Malaysia
has signboards like that at almost every playground…. NOOOOOO!!!!
And so we
took the opportunity to play around, especially the swings! Weehoo!
Our Alien
leader did something childish too. Take a look at this home-made video. Raw and
fresh.
Yes, that’s
me holding the camera and sounding all bossy.
I didn’t
realize it till I watched the video again.
But we
really enjoyed ourselves at the playground, though we’re already a bunch of
20-somethings.
I will
definitely visit the playground again before heading back to Malaysia.
Lesson of the day: Never lose the child within you.
