Rejoice by Surprise

Xinyi, Angela and I signed up for a trip to Leeds.
Leeds is famous for its Royal Armories Museum and it is also a shopping paradise.
Of course, we felt like we were in heaven because there were tons of shops located at the city center.

On our way to the city center, Angela used her live GPS,
taking us around the neighborhood and to our great joy, we accidentally bumped into Leeds' BBC Studio.
Well the only thing we could do was to take pictures outside the studio because there was no one at the reception for us to request for a tour.

With my intelligence,
I took Xinyi and Angela to the right track and the GPS brought all of us to Leeds' outdoor wet market.
To our surprise, the products were cheaper than Sheffield and
Angela couldn't help but buy a bag of tomatoes…
and there were many other stalls which sold cheap products from clothes to kitchen utensils.

Next, we entered the indoor wet market where there were even more variety of stalls.
After a quick and cheap breakfast, the hunt began!
We went to Victoria Quarter and what mesmerized us was the architectural building.
The interior design and structure was very quintessential, classic, glamorous and grandeur.
The shops inside Victoria Quarter were veritable to the building's name as well. Swarovski, Karen Millen, Ted Baker, All Saints, Phillip Stoner, Louis Vuitton and many other branded products.
Of course, our wallets' content does not match with these designer's products for now.
Therefore when we decided to take a walk outside Victoria Quarter,
Xinyi and Angela spotted the brand L'occitane.
Immediately they screamed my name out and I was so delighted to see a familiar brand name.

Im a H-U-G-E L'occitane fan. I was amazed by the two-storey L'occitane shop.
Never in my life have I seen a two-storey L'occitane in Malaysia.
I have been using their products for a few years and I can say the results are very satisfying so far.
I could not help myself! I walked into L'occitane.
We were approached by a friendly male sales person who offered us mint-lemon tea.
He offered us his service and introduced some products for us to try out.
Just when I was about to finalize my decision, another female sales person approached us, Helen.
We were not sure about our skin condition and Helen
offered to conduct a free test to determine the hydration level on our skin.
She led us downstairs where there were more products and offers available.
After the test, she recommended the products that best suited our needs.
We asked questions regarding skin care and I was glad that she was able to answer it clearly.

Double-storey L'occitane

Other than that, Helen introduced the type of promotions and free gifts available depending on individual purchases. Then she gave all three of us a complementary hand massage!
Perhaps we were tired, all of us felt like falling asleep because we really enjoyed a light massage after meeting our hectic assignment deadline. Helen was really friendly.
Throughout the massage she had a chat with us and she explained more about L'occitane and some activities. She even suggested us to contact L'occitane's facebook page and tag them our articles which we are currently working on for our Student Aliens' website, and they would have interaction with us!

WE SHALL SEE!

Me and the very sweet Helen~

Look at me~so enjoy~

"Victory" in Victoria Quarter's L'occitane.

I must give double thumbs up for Victoria Quarter's L'occitane services as it is the best service
I have ever received. Compared with Malaysia, I dislike and would even boycott Malaysia's L'occitane
for I have experienced being attended by very snobbish staff and ignorant services,
especially in the Pavilion and Mid Valley outlets. Well, I don’t know why, maybe I did not dress like a rich person and they were too proud to attend to me or for whatsoever reasons.

Anyway, after long hours of window shopping and sight seeing,
by the time we arrived at the Royal Armouries Museum, it was too late as they have closed.
We might make a second trip but it is still undecided yet…and we shall see…again…
