So very hot....
Summer is here,
That much is clear;
My room is stuffy,
Can't help but be snappy.
Night and day,
Heat doesn't escape;
It's so unbearable,
It's clearly torture.
My flowers nearly wilted,
From this unbearable heat;
What I wouldn't give,
For a nice, cold drink.
Clearly my brain has been fried,
For now I'm speaking in rhyme;
I have assignments to do,
Hope this doesn't spell my doom.
....That's it, I'm getting a nice, BIG, COLD bottle of coke.
I can't say anything now without sounding like a poet.
The heatwave here is much hotter than I expected.
Don't let the numbers fool you....
It's actually super hot, even at night.
And just a month ago,
I was complaining of the cold.
Sigh....
Why can't the weather be a little bit of both - neither hot nor cold?
