Take a Leap to the Peak
Having holed up in my room for many days because of assignments,
I decided to join my friends for a trip to Peak District.
Seeing as we have to leave at half-past seven, my enthusiasm was at an all time low from waking up at 6 in the morning.
And I didn't have time for coffee either. Darn.
After taking a train, and a 20 minute or so walk to Castleton, my stomach decided to make its displeasure known.
So first stop, Breakfast.

Doesn't it look gorgeous?
It's definitely enough fuel for me to hike up a hill to see the remains a ruined castle,
and boy, was the hill steep!
Of course, it rained.
But the views are absolutely....breathtaking. Just breathtaking.
It's worth the climb...
And the pictures that we have.
When we finally reach the castle, we explored and wandered about every nook and cranny we can find.
It was then I noticed our Alien Leader fancy himself being a monkey.
Once he managed to get down, we explored a little bit more before hiking down to explore a cave or two.
By the end of the day, I could barely lift my leg up for another step or two.
But it was definitely fun.
